Listening and Learning

As I’ve walked neighborhoods and talked with many of you, I’ve been energized by the support and honest conversations. While priorities vary, I hear consistent concerns: affordable housing, behavioral health, public safety, and the rising cost of living.

Housing instability affects people at all income levels. It’s not just about availability, it’s also about families being priced out of our communities. We need a coordinated approach that expands housing options, improves zoning and permitting, supports income growth, and protects the environment. We must also grow living-wage jobs while protecting current staff and avoiding decisions that raise costs at the expense of local jobs.

Behavioral health is a concern. We need accessible, wraparound services for prevention and long-term care, and we should lean on the expertise of professionals in the field.

As a school principal, I’ve led with compassion, accountability, and trust. I bring that same approach to local government—grounded in service, collaboration, and a shared purpose.

I’m running to bring a leadership style rooted in servant leadership and equity, a shared focused on public safety and infrastructure. There’s strength in listening and leading together.

Thank you to all I’ve met. I look forward to connecting with more of you and would be honored to earn your support.
