Update & Thank You
A Quick Update and a Thank You
I wanted to share a brief update and extend my heartfelt thanks to those who have offered support and encouragement. Here are a few recent highlights:
Neighborhood Gathering: A community member and voter recently hosted a community gathering where I had the chance to introduce myself and share why I’m running for office. It was a meaningful conversation with neighbors about what matters to them, I shared about my views on servant-leadership, and the possibilities for moving forward.
Blaine 4th of July Parade: I was grateful to walk in the parade and connect with others who care deeply about our community. A big thank you to the other candidates and everyone who made the day welcoming and positive. There are some wonderful people running for office - I wish them all well.
If we haven’t had the chance to meet yet, I’d love the opportunity to connect—whether it’s over coffee, a phone call, or a small neighborhood get-together. Please reach out!
If you’re able to support with a donation—no matter the amount—it truly makes a difference and helps with reach more voters.
Lastly, some difficult news: this week, $7 billion in education funding—already approved by Congress—was cut. These funds supported programs that don’t see students as blue or red, but simply as children who need extra support. These are kids as young as four or five, and now that support has been taken away. It’s frustrating and disheartening—and a reminder of why strong advocacy for public education is so important.
