Gratitude for Support and Looking Ahead

As the school year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to share my gratitude for the opportunity to connect with so many of you recently.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve had the privilege of attending endorsement meetings and speaking directly with Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs) from the Whatcom Democrats. I’m truly thankful for the time, thoughtful questions, and genuine conversations. It’s been energizing to share a bit about my background, my reasons for running, and my vision for Whatcom County, especially with those who have been deeply engaged in our local democracy for years.

As a school administrator, this time of year is always a whirlwind. Wrapping up the school year means celebrating student achievements, supporting staff transitions, and helping families navigate summer resources. It’s a busy season, but also a powerful reminder of the servant leadership I look forward to bringing to the Whatcom County Council.

With the school year now behind me, I’m looking forward to having more time to connect directly with folks across Whatcom County. Whether it’s knocking on doors, attending events, or grabbing coffee to hear your ideas, I’m excited to be out in the community and learning even more about what matters most to you.

Thank you again to everyone who’s taken the time to speak with me, share your perspectives, or offer your support. Your encouragement means a great deal, and I’m looking forward to continuing this journey.
